Procedure

Weigh Phase A ingredients (rose water, aloe vera juice, glycerin) into a clean beaker. Stir gently.

In a separate beaker, combine Polysorbate 20 with the rose geranium essential oil. Stir to pre-blend.

Add Phase B into Phase A. Mix well.

Add Vitamin E and Euxyl PE 9010. Stir.

Check pH and adjust to 5.0 - 5.5 using citric acid solution.

Pour into a sterilized bottle. Label and date.
Tips & Notes
- •Target pH: 5.0 - 5.5.
- •Cold process; no heating needed.
- •Rose water is a hydrosol, not a fragrance, so it can replace distilled water in the base.
- •Polysorbate 20 is kept at a 7.5:1 ratio to the essential oil and Vitamin E to help the toner stay clear.
- •Euxyl PE 9010 gives the formula a broad-spectrum preservative system that fits the beginner guide better.
