What is Formuley?
Formuley helps beauty teams manage the full Product Launch OS: brief, formula, ingredients, packaging, claims, testing, compliance, label, batch, launch, post-market quality, customer programs, education evidence, and AI trust with human review.
How do I get started?
Start in Docs for account setup, onboarding, and your first workflow. After setup, use Help for troubleshooting, billing, and support questions.
Is there a free plan?
The Free plan includes 2 formulas, 10 raw materials, 1 active batch, Ask Formuley, Making Mode, basic INCI/compliance visibility, and Marketplace browsing. Eligible Free accounts can choose a 14-day Pro trial. A card is required to start; you pay $0 today, then $49/month unless canceled before the first charge date shown at checkout.
How are Business, Lab, Enterprise, Education, and Supplier Partner separated?
Every self-serve tier sees the Product Launch OS. Business adds team, client, supplier, and approval operations. Lab adds GMP batch records, MFR/BPR, release packets, dossiers, and lab operations. Enterprise adds governance, procurement, SSO/SCIM, audit retention, admin controls, APIs, integrations, and custom annual implementation. Education and Supplier Partner are separate packages. Private Manufacturing Portal is a Lab and Enterprise add-on.
Are there free calculators without login?
Yes. The soap, HLB, and unit conversion calculators are available on the Free Tools pages with no login required.
Billing and plans
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime from your account Settings. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Self-serve paid plans are generally non-refundable after purchase or renewal. Exceptions are limited to duplicate or incorrect charges, material service failure caused by Formuley, or refunds required by law. Enterprise and Education terms are contract-specific.
Does supplier-paid placement affect technical recommendations?
No. Supplier discovery is workflow-native and privacy-safe. Formuley can support supplier request/docs readiness and aggregate category interest, but suppliers do not buy technical recommendation order and unsigned suppliers are not activated partners.
Security and data
How secure is my data?
Formuley runs on managed infrastructure backed by vendor SOC 2 reports. Your formulas are protected by encryption in transit and at rest, with row-level security at the database layer to keep one customer's data out of another customer's workspace. Read the security overview.
Do you sell my data?
Never. We make money from subscriptions, not from selling data. Your formulas are your competitive advantage and we would never compromise that.
Will AI see my exact formula?
Not by default. Ask Formuley and Ask Ny use minimal safe context, and exact percentages, supplier details, and cost breakdowns stay out of external AI unless you explicitly use a workflow that requires your submitted content, such as document parsing or community publication review. Read the privacy details.
Do we need on-prem to protect our formulas?
Usually no. Formuley starts with Formula IP Protection: restricted formula, supplier, and cost data stay out of external AI by default, suppliers cannot see private formula details, and enterprise customers can add private AI or no-external-AI posture. When infrastructure control is required, Formuley supports Enterprise On-Prem / Private Cloud through a customer-managed Kubernetes deployment package. See the secure deployment path.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Go to Settings > Data > Export Data. You can download a complete JSON export and CSV exports for key records.
