Your formulas are protected by row-level security at the database layer. Formuley employees do not have access to browse your formula data as part of normal operations. Access is restricted to authorized engineers for specific support, security, or maintenance purposes — and only when necessary. We log internal access events.

You can export your full formula library, raw material records, and batch history to CSV or JSON at any time from Settings > Data > Export. If Formuley ever planned to wind down, we would communicate the timeline in advance and keep export access available throughout that process. Your formulas are yours — they leave with you.

Yes. Every team member’s access is controlled by role-based permissions. When someone leaves, you remove them from your account and their access is immediately revoked. For Enterprise plans, SCIM 2.0 automates this via your identity provider (Okta, Azure AD) — no manual offboarding risk.

No. Each client workspace uses row-level security at the database level — not just at the UI layer. Client formula isolation is built into the system so one workspace’s records stay separate from another workspace’s records.

Never. We make money from subscriptions, not from selling data. Your formulas are your competitive advantage and we would never compromise that.

Not by default. Ask Formuley and Ny work from minimal safe context, so exact percentages, supplier details, and cost breakdowns stay out of external AI unless you explicitly use a workflow that requires your submitted content, such as document parsing or community publication review. Read the AI privacy details.

Ask Formuley can open calculators, pages, and records, search docs and help content, and trigger deeper workflows like guided briefs, formula review, pre-batch checks, troubleshooting, and alternatives. Ny stays focused on live batch guidance inside Making Mode.

Yes. Go to Settings > Data > Export Data. You can download a complete JSON export and CSV exports for key records.

If you accidentally delete a record, contact support promptly. Recovery depends on your plan, available backups, and the time elapsed, and is not guaranteed. Deleted accounts are removed from active systems promptly after deletion.

Yes. Batch records and Making Mode support lot-aware charging so actual raw material amounts and selected lots stay attached to the batch for traceability.

Yes! When viewing a formula, you can scale it up or down by entering a multiplier or target yield. The app will automatically calculate new ingredient amounts.

Every time you edit a formula, a new version is created automatically. You can view the history of changes and compare versions to see what changed. This helps you track your formula development process.

Profit Guardian is Formuley's deterministic cost and margin monitoring system. It tracks ingredient cost spikes, formula cost drift, and linked-sales margin drops, then shows the exact trigger so you can protect your margins without guessing.

AI Deformulator lets you paste an INCI list and estimate percentages, phases, and notes. It is available on Pro and above.

Yes. The soap, HLB, and unit conversion calculators are available on the Free Tools pages with no login required.

Yes. The Free plan includes 2 formulas, 10 raw materials, 1 active batch, Ask Formuley, Making Mode, basic INCI/compliance visibility, and Marketplace browsing. Eligible self-serve accounts can also start a 14-day Pro trial when they want the full operating workflow.

You can cancel anytime from your account Settings. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing period.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure payment processor, Stripe.

Self-serve paid plans are generally non-refundable after purchase or renewal. Exceptions are limited to duplicate or incorrect charges, material service failure caused by Formuley, or refunds required by law. Enterprise and Education terms are contract-specific.
