This policy explains how Formuley handles free trials, recurring billing, cancellations, refunds, and account data for self-serve subscriptions.
Eligible self-serve accounts can start a 14-day Pro trial. No credit card is required to begin the trial.
At the end of the trial:
You can cancel your subscription at any time:
When you cancel, you retain access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that:
Cancellation requests take effect at the end of your current billing period. For example, if you cancel on day 15 of a monthly subscription, you retain access until day 30. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time after cancellation.
Self-serve monthly and annual plans are generally non-refundable after purchase or renewal. We only issue refunds for:
Paid access starts immediately when you subscribe or change plans. If applicable law gives you a withdrawal or cooling-off period for digital services, you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that the right ends once paid access begins.
Refunds are generally not available for change of mind, unused time, downgrades, missed cancellations before renewal, unused features, or accounts suspended for Terms violations. Approved self-serve refunds are handled manually by the Formuley team and are full refunds only where policy or law requires one.
To request a refund:
Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Enterprise and Education subscriptions are contract-specific. Their refunds, cancellation rights, pilots, and billing schedules are governed by the signed order form, purchase order, or other written agreement.
When you upgrade to a higher tier, the change takes effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period, and your new rate applies at the next renewal.
When you downgrade to a lower tier, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. You retain access to your current tier's features until then. Downgrades do not receive prorated or partial refunds.
If your data exceeds the limits of the lower tier (e.g., more formulas than allowed), you will need to archive or delete the excess before downgrading.
Education subscriptions are contract-specific. Pricing, pilot access, cancellation, renewal timing, and refunds are governed by the signed agreement. Please contact billing@formuley.io for questions about education contract cancellations.
When you cancel your subscription:
If you delete your account, Formuley removes account data from active systems promptly, subject to legally required retention and normal encrypted backup rotation. For privacy requests, email privacy@formuley.io.
We may change our prices from time to time. We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the price change takes effect.
Existing annual subscribers will not be affected by price changes until their next renewal.
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at billing@formuley.io within 60 days of the charge. We will investigate and resolve legitimate disputes promptly.
If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, we may suspend your account pending resolution.
