Procedure

Weigh Phase A (water, glycerin). Sprinkle xanthan gum while stirring.

Weigh Phase C (Olivem 1000, grapeseed oil, CCT, cetyl alcohol).

Heat both to 75C.

Pour Phase C into Phase A. Blend for 3 - 5 minutes.

Cool to below 40C.

Add Phase D (panthenol, chamomile EO, Vitamin E, preservative).

Check pH (5.3 - 5.8). Adjust with citric acid or NaOH.

Pour into sterilized bottles. Label and date.

- •Target pH: 5.3 - 5.8.
- •Grapeseed oil is one of the lightest carrier oils, perfect for a non-greasy lotion.
- •This formula has lower total oil content than the body butter, making it lighter and faster-absorbing.
