Procedure

Weigh water, then add surfactants gently one at a time (SLSa, cocamidopropyl betaine, coco-glucoside). Stir slowly.

Add glycerin and stir gently until uniform. Warm to 50-60C if needed.

Sprinkle xanthan gum while stirring.

Cool to below 40C.

Add Phase D (panthenol, polyquaternium-10, rosemary essential oil, vitamin E, preservative).

Dissolve salt in a small amount of water and add gradually to thicken.

Check pH (5.0 - 6.0). Adjust with citric acid.

Pour into sterilized bottles. Label and date.
Tips & Notes
- •Target pH: 5.0 - 6.0.
- •Polyquaternium-10 is a cationic conditioning polymer-it deposits on hair and improves combability.
- •Hair products should be slightly acidic (pH 5.0 - 6.0) to keep the cuticle smooth.
- •Rosemary EO has been studied for its potential to support hair growth.
