Procedure

Weigh all Phase A ingredients (castor oil, beeswax, shea butter, CCT, jojoba oil, macadamia oil, cocoa butter) into a heat-safe beaker.

Melt in a water bath or double boiler at 70-75C until fully liquid.

Remove from heat. Allow to cool slightly to about 55-60C.

Add Phase B (flavor oil, vitamin E, mica). Stir well to distribute the mica evenly.

Pour immediately into lip balm tubes or tins while still liquid.

Allow to cool and set completely before capping. Label and date.
Tips & Notes
- •Anhydrous (water-free) formula: no preservative is needed and pH does not apply.
- •Pour into tubes or molds while still warm because the mixture sets quickly.
- •More beeswax creates a firmer balm. More oil creates a softer balm.
- •Mica is optional. Skip it for a clear balm.
- •This formula keeps total butter content at 10%, which stays within the beginner lip balm guide range.
- •Flavor is held at 1% to keep the balm within the beginner lip-product guide range.
