Procedure

Weigh Phase A ingredients (water, glycerin, niacinamide) into a clean beaker and stir until dissolved.

In a separate small beaker, combine Phase B solubilizer (Polysorbate 20) with the essential oil. Stir well to pre-blend.

Add Phase B blend into Phase A and stir thoroughly.

Add Vitamin E and preservative (Euxyl PE 9010). Mix well.

Check pH is between 5.0 - 6.0. Adjust with citric acid if needed.

Pour into a sterilized spray bottle. Label and date.
Tips & Notes
- •Target pH: 5.0 - 6.0.
- •This is a cold-process formula-no heating required, making it perfect for beginners.
- •The solubilizer ratio matters: Polysorbate 20 should be 5 - 10x the essential oil amount to keep the mist clear.
- •Add niacinamide below 40C to preserve its brightening efficacy.
- •All formulas are measured by weight (% w/w), NOT volume.
