What you will accomplish
Use the correct sign-in page for staff or clients, recover access safely, and understand how one Formuley account opens the right workspace for each membership and role.
Before you start
- Staff may use
/loginor the organization’s exact access page. - The organization access pattern is
/portal/{organization-slug}/access. Use the saved link shown in Client Portal settings instead of typing or guessing the organization address. - External clients should begin with the exact invitation or returning-access link for their organization.
- A portal address identifies the organization. The link alone does not grant access.
Sign in as an owner or teammate
Open /login when the organization link is not available, or use the verified organization access page. Sign in with the Formuley account attached to the invitation or membership. Formuley checks the current organization membership and role before opening the internal Business application.
If the account belongs to more than one organization, use the organization switcher after sign-in. Recheck the organization name before opening client, billing, or team records.
Sign in as a client
Open the invitation for the correct organization. Complete account activation or use the sign-in method shown on that page. Formuley confirms the client relationship and assigned workspace before opening the portal.
Clients see only the accounts, projects, files, messages, requests, and decisions shared with their client role. They do not become internal team members and do not receive internal workspace permissions.
Recover access and sign out
Use Forgot? or the secure sign-in link option on the access page when available. Finish recovery from the same organization page. Complete MFA when the account or organization requires it.
After sign-out, Formuley returns to the organization access page when that destination is still valid. Otherwise, it returns to /login.
Check your work
- Owners and teammates reach the Business navigation for the selected organization.
- Clients reach only their permitted client portal.
- Switching organizations changes the organization name before its records load.
- An old, changed, or guessed portal address does not open protected records.
- Password recovery and MFA return to the intended organization without accepting an unrelated return address.
- Sign-out removes protected access and returns to a safe sign-in page.
If something does not look right
- If the organization access page is unavailable, verify the saved portal address from Team → Workspaces → Client Portal. Staff can still use
/login. - If a teammate reaches a client-only view, confirm the person accepted the internal team invitation and has an active role in the organization.
- If a client reaches an empty portal, confirm their client access is active and records have been explicitly shared.
- If recovery opens the wrong organization, close the flow and restart from the intended organization access page.
- Never send a client a portal path copied from another organization.
