What you will accomplish

Create a Formuley Commerce website, prepare its public pages and products, verify its payment readiness, and publish the customer experience you reviewed.

Before you start

  • Open Commerce → Website at /commerce/websites.
  • Confirm the selected website, or choose All websites when you need the business-wide view.
  • Prepare the public brand name, contact details, product or service records, images, policies, and delivery information you intend to publish.
  • Publishing a website and enabling paid checkout are separate readiness decisions.

Create and design the website

  1. Select New site when your plan has website capacity.
  2. Choose the site type available to your plan and complete the required brand details.
  3. Open Website Studio from the website record.
  4. Review navigation, page copy, images, contact details, and customer-facing policies.
  5. Preview the website at mobile and desktop widths before publishing.

Prepare products and checkout

Open Commerce → Products at /commerce/catalog. Product Launch keeps the main product details. Commerce controls the storefront images, selling status, options, price, tax, shipping, stock, and visibility for the selected website.

Open Commerce → Money at /commerce/money to review payment setup. A site may be publishable before paid checkout is ready. Do not advertise card checkout until the selected website shows payment account, checkout, and payment-check readiness.

Publish and verify

Use the website’s publish action only after the preview, contact details, policies, products, and destination are correct. Open the published hostname in a signed-out browser and follow the same path a customer will use.

Check your work

  • The website name, public address, and selected Commerce website all refer to the intended site.
  • Mobile and desktop previews show the correct pages, images, and products.
  • Hidden or draft products are not visible on the public site.
  • Contact, delivery, cancellation, return, and privacy information is current.
  • Paid checkout is enabled only after the connected payment account and payment check are ready.
  • The signed-out public site opens without exposing private Formuley records.

If something does not look right

  • If New site is unavailable, check the plan’s website capacity and the current site count.
  • If a product is missing, confirm it exists in Product Launch and is added to the selected website in /commerce/catalog.
  • If the site is live but checkout is unavailable, continue payment setup in /commerce/money and recheck the selected website.
  • If a custom domain is pending, keep the Formuley-provided hostname available until domain verification completes.
  • If a saved change is not visible, confirm you previewed or published the same website selected in Commerce.
