Change student questions for one assignment

Choose whether students can start new questions for an assignment.

Steps

  1. Open the assignment details.
  2. Select or clear Allow new “Ask your instructor” requests for this assignment.
  3. Choose Save Details and check the school setting shown beside the control.

Check it worked

New questions follow both rules: they are available only when the school and assignment each allow them.

Keep in mind

Existing threads are not deleted.
