Turn new student questions on or off

Control new student questions while keeping existing conversations available.

Steps

  1. On Setup → AI policy, find Ask your instructor.
  2. Select or clear Allow new requests.
  3. Choose Save instructor-help policy and confirm the displayed current state.

Check it worked

New requests follow the saved school setting.

Keep in mind

Earlier questions and instructor replies stay available. This setting does not disable instructor accounts, feedback, or announcements.
