What you will accomplish

Review website performance, check automated messages, and update the correct website or business settings while keeping sales reports separate from balances and payouts.

Before you start

  • Confirm the selected website, or choose All websites for a business-wide view.
  • Select one website before changing its catalog, customer, inventory, or design settings.
  • Use the business-wide view only for records and financial controls your role is allowed to see.

Review analytics

Open Analytics at /commerce/analytics. Check the date range, currency, selected website, and any data notices before reading sales, orders, customer, product, and traffic results. Use Money and Stripe for confirmed balances and payouts.

Review automation

Open Automation at /commerce/analytics/automation. Review each available workflow’s state, trigger, recent run, and delivery result before enabling or changing it. Transactional communication follows the order or account event. Marketing communication requires the customer consent shown in the customer record.

When a delivery fails, retry through the workflow’s supported action so the same event remains traceable. Do not create a duplicate order, customer, or subscription to resend a message.

Update Commerce settings

Open Settings at /commerce/settings. Search or browse the available areas for websites and delivery, inventory and locations, customers and communication, reviews and returns, plan access, and other supported controls.

Some settings open another Formuley page, such as Website Studio, Inventory, or Money. Recheck the website and business shown there before saving.

Check your work

  • The analytics date range, selected website, and currency are visible.
  • Financial conclusions are confirmed in Money, not inferred from a chart alone.
  • Automation status and recent delivery result match the expected event.
  • Customer-facing messages use the intended website identity and verified sending configuration.
  • Marketing communication is not sent when consent is absent.
  • Each changed setting belongs to the intended website or business.

If something does not look right

  • If a chart is empty, check the date range, selected website, data notice, and whether any matching activity exists.
  • If an automation did not run, confirm it is enabled and that its trigger occurred for the same website.
  • If email is suppressed or fails, review the sender identity, recipient state, and delivery result before retrying.
  • If a settings row opens an unavailable page, confirm your plan and role include that control.
  • If a saved setting appears unchanged, verify you returned to the same website.
