Choose the AI coaching mode for an assignment within your school policy.

Steps

Open the assignment details.
Set Assignment AI coaching mode to Disabled, Concept only, Socratic questions, Evidence review, or Open practice.
Choose Save Details and reopen the assignment to confirm it persisted.

The saved mode matches your teaching decision.

The school-wide student AI setting still takes precedence; your assignment cannot switch it back on.

Choose whether students can start new questions for an assignment.

Prepare coursework, answer student questions, and review submissions.
