Compliance, INCI, and label release
Move from formula review into compliant INCI output, labels, and release-ready documentation without splitting the source of truth.
Overview
Release work in Formuley spans /compliance, /inci, and /labels. Those surfaces should all derive from the same formulation truth.
Recommended release sequence
- Review the formula in
/compliance. - Generate or confirm ingredient declaration output in
/inci. - Move to
/labelsonce market, ingredient order, and disclosure assumptions are stable.
What should stay aligned
The following values should not drift between pages:
- formula percentages
- market assumptions
- INCI naming
- allergen and disclosure decisions
- product and batch naming used on the label
If a label looks right but the compliance or INCI source is out of date, treat the label as blocked.
US and EU launch expectations
For a cosmetic-grade launch, use this workflow to confirm:
- the target market is explicit
- INCI output matches the intended label convention
- disclosure-sensitive ingredients are reviewed before export or print
- release artifacts are generated from the latest approved formula state
